How track labels work

Label wording version: verification-v3

Every public track shows separate labels for what kind of track it is, where its data comes from and what has been checked about it. Where the data comes from is never a verification result, and a backtest is never shown as a live result.

Labels used on public tracks today and what each one means
LabelWhat it means
Track kind
BACKTEST · MT5 STRATEGY TESTERA backtest made in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. It is a simulation on historical prices; no trades were placed with a broker. Backtest numbers are always shown apart from live numbers.
REAL · MT5 STATEMENTThe closed history of a real account, from an MT5 Trade History Report the owner exported. It is a historical record up to the date shown on the page, not a live connection. A demo account reads DEMO · MT5 STATEMENT.
Data source
Uploaded backtestThe owner uploaded a Strategy Tester report. We calculate the numbers from that report.
Owner-exported MT5 statementThe owner exported the account history from MetaTrader 5 and myeabook imported it. We calculate the numbers from its deals and closed positions.
Verification line
Simulated — not broker-verified · Verification: N/A (backtest)A backtest is a simulation, so there is no broker account to check. Simulated results are hypothetical.
Not broker-verifiedThe statement was not checked against the broker. Its numbers come from the owner's file.
Assurance
ReconciledWhen the statement was imported, its balance chain, its totals, the links between its positions, deals and orders, and the core figures in MT5's own Results section all matched exactly. It is not broker verification, not a check of the broker or server, not proof of who controls the account and not a sign that the record is current. Win and loss streaks are not shown, because MT5 does not print the order of positions closed in the same second.

Live tracks

Live broker-connection verification is introduced in a later stage. Until that feature ships, this page documents only the public labels currently in use. When verified live tracks are supported, this page will explain connector provenance, verification status, data freshness and account-control evidence separately.

What these labels do not say

  • A data-source label is not a verification result.
  • No label says that a broker is reputable or regulated.
  • No label says who controls a trading account.
  • Reconciled is not broker verification.
  • No label, live or backtest, predicts future performance.
